Full responsibility for Records and Renewals Trademarks and Domain name staff, roles and tasks. Including all administrative client requirements, updating procedures to stay abreast of changes, training, recruiting and CITMA mentoring.Lead administrator for the firms Client Workbench online tool which provides portal access for clients to access their portfolio's.Assisting in larger departmental maintenance, projects and secretarial training as well as new starter training.

In this role I was responsible for the management of 18 members of Records, Formalities and Renewals staff dealing with patents, designs, copyrights, plant variety rights, petty patents, utility models, SPC’s, trademarks and domain names. My duties include all aspects of staff recruiting, training, appraisals and development including HR issues. I also serve clients and Attorneys/Partners in any administrative capacity required including presentations, producing reports, populating spreadsheets for data conversion or bespoke work. My role also has an I.S element, specifically with Inprotech, Client Workbench and Anaqua. Quality control, CIPA/CITMA formalities mentoring and fee earner/secretary induction sessions were also my responsibilities.

The Records trademarks Team Leader role had me lead a desk of 5 staff members responsible for all aspects and regions of trademark and domain name prosecution, opposition and recordal work with regards to formalities, deadline docketing, and record keeping. The UK, EUIPO (OHIM) and WIPO filings for these trademarks were also done by my desk. During my time in this role I recruited, trained and developed staff, wrote the now discontinued TM6 notification procedure as well as various other forms/procedures which were developed. I also oversaw Various Inprotech and other software upgrades and I passed the CIPA Patent Formalities course with a 90% final score.

I was the European Records TM clerk and was responsible for updating and docketing all communications including oppositions, recordals, ordinary applications and provide bespoke support to my lead and our larger team. I also passed CITMA with a 97% final mark during this period.
