Oversee company infrastructure, help desk, business applications (i.e. ERP, Microsoft Enterprise Agreement), human resources, and supply chain functions. Supervise three IT managers plus system engineering group, telecomm, and help desk supervisors who ensure daily company infrastructure operational tasks. Develop and direct $9M annual IT Infrastructure budget. Establish strategic plan to use technologies to improve business processes, determine project goals, and supervise employee workloads. Devise and promote multiple IT infrastructure strategies to senior management. Serve as IT lead in corporate due diligence of acquisitions and divestitures. Approve and execute purchases between $20M and $824M.• Used VMWare for easier server provisioning, backups and disaster recovery and MS Azure Hybrid Cloud strategy.• Instituted ticket monitoring process with new software to improve help desk response time and allow technicians quicker access to remote systems.• Successfully converted telephone systems to Cisco allowing central control, decreasing long distance charges, simplifying system maintenance and standardizing company soft phones reducing costs by changing from traditional to SIP circuits.• Led IT integration of newly-secured Compressor Systems, Inc. into TETRA environment.• Secured change management, KPI metrics and SLAs resulting in 99.95% uptime on numerous infrastructure assignments including WAN/LAN, server farms, phone systems, e-commerce and ERP system.• Negotiated deals to lower annual spend by more than $350K annually.• Increased end users’ satisfaction from 72% to 90%.
