A recent graduate of Masters of Public health and health administration; working as a volunteer with a Red Cross at their Migration support program. Highly experienced in customer service and managing the day to day administration work. I have over 7 years of experience working in various industries. In July 2020, during the time of COVID-19, I got the fabulous opportunity to work as a Volunteer at the Red Cross Organisation in Australia. I am responsible for reviewing the applications for the emergency relief fund from the web portal thus giving me extensive experience working with Red Cross CCM database. Therefore, I have the requisite technical knowledge of the systems used by the Red Cross. I am also proficient with the use of the wide range of IT applications such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Red Connect. In 2018, I moved to Melbourne Australia to pursue a Masters of Public Health from La Trobe University. To support me and gain local experience in Australia, I worked as a Front of Staff at a Food Court in Crown Casinos. This opportunity helped me gaining local customer service experience and enhancing my communication skills. In 2019, as a part of my Master's study, I carried out a year-long Research project with Green Crescent Organisation in Australia which gave me Project management and Research experience. The project was focussed on understanding the nature and prevalence of social media addictions on the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities. I was responsible for carrying out the complete the detailed literature review, developing the research hypotheses and finding the gaps in the previous studies and listing the scope for future studies. I have worked as a Dental Assistant for 5 years in India after completing my graduation in 2013. I have gained plenty of experience dealing with patients having different dental problems, carried out different dental procedures, maintained patients records and managing the clinic on my own from time to time. This experience gave me an opportunity to gain enormous experience in customer service skills. I hold a current Employee Child check. I am a flexible professional who enjoys learning new skills and looking forward to giving to the community by procuring a position in the Health industry.
