The YPN committee is a group of young LGBTIQA+ people from across Western Australia who are working to improve the lives of all young LGBTIQA+ people in the state through systemic advocacy, education, and events. Established in 2017, during the marriage equality plebiscite.Roles as the 2024 Secretary include organising meetings, fulfilling agendas, and taking notes.

In the federal government's Youth Advisory Group on the prevention of gender-based violence. Working alongside the Office for Youth, Department of Education, and Department of Social Services to codesign policy to prevent gender-based violence and support victims.

As a dedicated member of the Youth Steering Group for the City of Melville, I have been actively involved in:- Coordinating Workshops, Events, and Activities: Successfully organized and managed various initiatives to engage and empower young people in the community.- Youth Advocacy: Facilitated discussions on important issues and ideas relevant to young people, ensuring their voices are heard and considered in city decisions.- Providing Feedback to the City: Acted as a liaison between young people and the City of Melville, offering insights and recommendations on policies and projects that impact the youth.- Community Improvement: Contributed to making the City a better place for young people by focusing on creating a safe, accessible, and inclusive environment.- Supporting Strategic Initiatives: Championed the values of the Directions from Young People Strategy and oversaw the delivery of related actions and initiatives.

● Managed daily cash, credit, debit, and voucher transactions in a timely manner using the POS system, handling hundreds of dollars. ● Memorized over 100 menu items and helped a variety of customers purchase what satisfied their needs, being the first point of contact. ● Resolved customer issues and answered questions in a professional and courteous manner. ● Worked in a team of around 10 people at a time, collaborating to provide quality service while increasing efficiency, completing drive through orders in under 150 seconds. ● Cleaned dining and preparation area using appropriate techniques suited for COVID-19 guidelines.
