As a Senior Marketing Specialist, I lead the strategy and execution of cross-platform marketing initiatives including website and analytics, social media strategy and content development, online promotions, advertising, and design. In addition to those roles, I oversaw the editorial calendars and site optimization.

I was half of the two-person marketing team taking the credit union to the next level. I created and managed content across all digital platforms and print mediums. I was a writer, designer, editor, and brand manager. I enjoyed the impact I made and learning about the intricacies of the financial industry.

I regularly contributed to projects with graphic design, visual consulting, content creation, account management, copywriting, production, assisting with service design, and whatever it took to get the job done. I handled over 50 projects on my plate at one time and worked on projects that took over a year to bring to fruition. No matter the project, my main goal was to make each one worthy of our time and worthwhile to the end user. Whether it be an activity book for children in waiting areas or the rebrand of a service, I believe it should all make a difference.

I conceptualized and produced visually stimulating pieces that intrigued and enticed the public to work on their well-being. I concepted, designed, and built campaigns based on personal research, marketing statistics, and current trends.

Created marketing, promotional, advertising documents and graphics to promote events and the organization.

Created and edited print graphics for the organization; from t-shirts and banners to event invites and monthly newsletters.

Managed Western Virginia Student ADDY Awards program. Planned events geared toward young creative professionals in Southwestern Virginia. Managed and grew the club while engaging new board and club members.

Coordinated monthly luncheons and membership programs.

Created and executed programs of all sizes throughout the year. Programs were geared toward small businesses and Chamber members. Marketed the Small Business Development Center and the programs that were offered.
