I have created out-of-the-box incentives for my students to expose them to all types of literacy opportunities. As the CASE for Kids Coordinator and Information Literacy Specialist, I have analyzed and implemented programs that are bridging the gap between parents, schools, and community involvement. My grant writing experience has afforded me the opportunity to obtain and manage funding in order to make additional resources available and impact the lives of our impressionable youth, who are the future of tomorrow.
