As the Chief Pedagogy Officer at Area9 Lyceum, I lead a dedicated team focused on advancing educational technology and methodologies. With a background in General Pedagogics and a deep interest in the philosophy of education, I’ve spent over 16 years in the tech industry, working to bridge the gap between traditional educational theories and cutting-edge technology. My approach to leadership is rooted in developing talent and fostering an environment where team members can exceed their own expectations. I believe in the power of dialogue, feedback, and leading by example to inspire continuous growth and learning.Since childhood, I’ve been interested in the relationship between man/machine - human/technology, particularly the distinctions between the authentic and the artificial. This interest combined with my studies on the past 2,500 years' educational systems has led to my current focus on how we can use this knowledge to innovate in the tech industry. My work is about creating tangible, testable solutions that enhance learning experiences for students and learners around the world.I’ve had the privilege of studying and lecturing at the University of Copenhagen, gaining hands-on tech experience at Area9 and WriteReader, and advising panels at Århus University, Ålborg University, DTU, and Copenhagen University. My work has also included advising the Danish Ministry of Education on digitization in education.
