About Tassiane Castro

I like to think of a Digital Product Designer as a contemporary version of a 15th century alchemist. That's because an alchemist's job was to transmute the world around them. They accomplish this purpose through other materials, whereas we, nowadays, use Design and technology to change our reality. This makes us part of the front line in the revolution of humanity's daily experience with its own reality.I also think it is relevant to say that I am passionate about listening to people's stories, creating patterns and developing solutions to their problems. The human aspect of my profession has always attracted me a lot. Human behaviour fascinates me, that's why I'm very interested in psychology and neuroscience, in addition to areas as design and technology. I believe that a good designer is an eternally curious being interested in knowledge.My professional goal is to use my skills in the service of human, social and technological advancement.Design is one of the means I use for this purpose."Any advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."- Clarke's third law
