About Tasso Mangos
I am passionate about using technology to elevate the ways businesses and people work. Over the past 25 years, I have leveraged strategic, analytical and technical capability to build a career as a technically founded and hands on CTO who is known for transforming IT services to future proof revenue lines, building competitive advantage in rapidly evolving markets. Prioritising quality, I believe that harnessing the power of internal and vendor talent creates businesses that can scale, and excel. Bringing this approach to ASX listed corporations across the technology space, I have led the development and execution of disruptive strategies and solutions that have become the foundation for highly profitable, multimillion-dollar revenue streams. As a member of the executive team, I see it as my role to realise the benefits of a rapidly evolving technology landscape, but critically doing it in a way that supports the very unique requirements of today’s businesses. I want to build a sustainable future for the Australian IT industry. A great deal of my recent career has been focused on identifying and stepping in to the gaps in the government, enterprise and SMB markets, conceiving of new ways of doing business and securing IT service contracts that disrupt the current trend of simply off-shoring in favour of smart and agile on-shore and off-shore delivery models. With demonstrable experience in infrastructure management, solution design and program leadership , I offer both the capacity for vision and the ability to execute. With a high level of ownership and a ability to thrive in environments that require both high-level and detailed input, I do not divert accountability to others in difficult circumstances – I will always ‘find a way’. I enjoy expanding my professional network and am an active participant in discussions on topics impacting the global technology world. If you should wish to start a conversation, please feel free to get in touch.

Strategic Advisor - Ict
Providing ICT Strategic advisory services to the BKI Executive and working directly with the CIO group to support Kangan Institute and Bendigo TAFE in its transformation journey.
Chief Information Officer (Interim)
As extension of our current engagement between RedFig Technology and BKI to produce an ICT Review and strategy, Bendigo Kangan Institute asked whether I’d take on the CIO as an interim basis until key permanent resources are recruited and in place. BKI is doing some fantastic work in building a new strategy and roadmap to support and deliver the next generation of education solutions for TAFE. The plans today will provide the foundations for BKI to deliver education to future students that may only be 5 or 6 years old right now. This strategy is thinking about how to implement the right supporting infrastructure, technology and course delivery plans to support future learning trends.I’m happy to be a part of it!
