I find satisfaction in taking large puzzles and breaking them down into smaller ones. This is a fundamental aspect of software development. I've come to appreciate how this approach resonates both in the professional realm, and outside in my passion for rock climbing. The parallels between climbing and software development are striking: both depend on breaking overarching goals into smaller achievable tasks. In order to be successful at climbing you cannot look at the entire climb all at once, or you will become overwhelmed. The climb is always broken up into smaller chunks in the climbers mind, and then tackled individually. Each piece on its own is an obtainable goal, and linking them all together isn't so bad either. Once this is realized, the unobtainable project then becomes possible. I get great satisfaction seeing this process to fruition in other aspects of life. Whether it be a coding project, product design, project management, or climbing, they all follow the basics of breaking large problems down into smaller ones.Interests/Skills: Javascript, React, Python, Django, Agile/Scrum, UX Design, Figma
