How can our players have fun if we do not.Make quality - Developers are encouraged to study, attend GDC, and are provided with in-house opportunities for learning. But, when given tasks, schedules rarely allow for time to think about design, architecture, or best practices. Quality means fewer bugs, more nimble code, and better maintainability. Quality leads to reuse, which leads to faster development. We’ve been making games for over 50 years.I made my first game when I was a kid in 1979 for the TRS 80. I became serious about making games in the early 90s. I have contributions in almost every discipline from code to art, producer, and Foley. I've been making games or game related projects for almost 30 years. I have devoted myself to writing the best C++ code I can, and keeping up-to-date with the latest C++. I write code, architect, and refactor to produce clean, maintainable, and bug free code while still maintaining performance. I believe a career is a constant learning process and I do everything I can to both learn and teach. Teaching is the best way to learn after all.
