I am a Software Engineer graduate with 2 years of experience in full-stack, web development and cloud development looking to start the next chapter of my career. I have interests in web and cloud development and fintech which I believe are needed for the future of software.I have recently completed a 5-year Computer Engineering and Management program at McMaster University, a program that integrates the technical education of a computer engineer with a business education for management.My journey into the professional workplace began at the Ministry of Children Community & Social Services as a Software Engineer Intern. During this time, I was working on developing automation schemes needed for a new website they were launching to do load testing with multiple different scenarios at different interface levels. Use of selenium, postman API and Java was required to do most of my tasksFrom this experience, I transitioned into the role of a Software Engineer Intern at Blizzard Entertainment. I was working on the new game engine team to build a Slack bot to report on the build health of virtual repositories and provide details on why the repositories may have failed. This was my first introduction to infrastructure work where I had design development and deployment pipelines with the use of C#,Jenkins,Docker,GCP and Kubernetes.More recently, I was at Meta, in the payout platform team where I helped design the project management hub proposal, a user interface using React, for creating and updating product information. It was used to Boost productivity across three finance teams by creating a program that streamlined communication and simplified payment processes for platform users.Currently I am working at a startup in Toronto called Quickplay where I have gotten the chance to work as a full stack engineer with the latest cloud and AI technologies. This has allowed me to deepen my understanding in software by exposing myself to as much information as I can to ensure I can carry this with me into my career.
