I currently work at WSP USA in San Diego, California as an Associate Consultant, Environmental Engineer. I am deeply passionate about environmental sustainability, specifically transitioning the world to clean, renewable energy, providing clean drinking water, and remediating environmentally degraded sites. During my time at WSP USA, I have worked at various federal military installations in San Diego and throughout California, assisting the installations with stormwater and potable water system compliance and asset management. I have also provided hydrologic analysis and stormwater drainage improvement recommendations for various installations. I strive to transition my career to focus on water resources and civil infrastructure sustainability through flood control and mitigation and drinking water/wastewater treatment optimization via direct potable reuse technology development. I am open to career opportunities that will challenge my technical skills and continue to develop my project management and technical writing skills.I recently completed my Master's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. At Cal Poly, I was a member of the Cal Poly Society of Women Engineers (SWE) chapter for five years and an officer for three years. Most recently, I held the Vice President of Public Relations position for Cal Poly SWE and I have worked to increase communications and connections between general members and officers this year. I was previously the Environmental Health and Safety Intern for Granite Construction. I have held a part-time job as a barista at Starbucks Coffee and other coffee shops on the Cal Poly Campus for four years. From these experiences and positions, I work well in groups and have strong leadership skills. I always strive to ensure that everyone in the team I work with is supported and has the resources to complete the job. I stay organized and I have developed strong time management skills.
