Taylor Boles is a Graduate Student in Applied Data Science at East Tennessee State University. Colleagues describe them as "I had the pleasure of mentoring Taylor while she was a student intern at the U.S. Forest Service. Though her duties mostly focused on recreation sites, Taylor also assisted the trails conservation crew (which I was a part of) for part of her internship. Taylor assisted us with navigation, trail management duties, and participation in the Cherokee National Forest BioBlitz. She also personally assisted me with digitally scouting for abandoned trails using GIS and LiDAR data. Taylor was a joy to mentor during part of her internship -- she is hardworking, a great problem solver, and passionate about environmental science."
