Oregon Area Director
Current- Implement all fundraising, programming, and advocacy initiatives throughout Oregon to meet national organization standards.- Develop annual budget and work within budget to carry out mission while maintaining non-profit status.- Recruit, onboard, cultivate, and recognize volunteers to continue chapter's success.- Facilitate volunteer-based workgroups to deepen community involvement in organization.- Convey the work of the chapter to community stakeholders through direct correspondence, social media, interviews, and e-mail marketing.- Learn, master, and present evidence-based suicide prevention programs both in person and virtually.- Mitigate risk of COVID-19 pandemic by creating innovative solutions to in-person needs.- Devise ways to connect with all members of the community virtually by creating safe, supportive, and engaging virtual programs and events.- Connect suicide loss survivors to community and chapter resources to support healing in the hours to years after their loss.
