Hello!I have a passion for the sciences with education in physics, chemistry, and biology. I have a passion for logistics and have nearly six years of event planning & organizational experience with an emphasis on local businesses. But mostly, I have a passion for learning and applying knowledge. I enjoy cross-disciplinary work where complex problems can be addressed and improved. Combining the skills I've acquired from operating a research lab, to planning events, to addressing workforce development needs has been an interesting, and surprisingly fulfilling endeavor - one that has opened doors to new perspectives and opportunities.Currently, I am the Director of Talent Solutions at OneSpartanburg, Inc. We work to build a vibrant Spartanburg through business, economic and tourism development. Specifically, I support these three arms with progressive conversations and program implementation to address the overall talent needs of Spartanburg county, its businesses, and its residents as informed by the OneSpartanburg Vision Plan.When I am not on the job, I enjoy reading, cooking, playing video/board games, exercising, learning new skills, challenging myself to be more sustainable, engaging in open discussions on any topic (especially to explore new perspectives), and spending time with family. I enjoy meeting new people and learning what passions they hold. It is a great, big, interesting world out there with so much more knowledge to discover.
