I am a doctoral candidate (ABD) in the UNLV Department of Anthropology and former Lab Manager of the UNLV Forensic Anthropology and Bioarchaeology Lab. My dissertation research focuses on anti-transgender violence and identification of gender-diverse individuals in forensic anthropology cases. I also assist with an NIJ project titled “Reliability and Validity of Radiographic Comparisons for Positive Identification.” My broad research interests include human identification and repatriation methods, scientific ethics and advocacy, queer studies, the use of medical imaging in the sciences, and public health and policy.
