Taylor Flaherty Email and Phone Number

My name is Taylor Flaherty and I am currently a student at North Dakota State University. My major is Physical Education and Health Education. I am planning on graduating after this upcoming Spring Semester in 2021. I will be student teaching in Fargo and West Fargo. I haven't decided where I want to teach in terms of location, but am probably going to be teaching at the Elementary-Middle School level. I have lots of experience over the last 4 years including creating and teaching lessons to homeschool students. I have created curriculum projects for both of my majors and have a lot of experience in lesson planning. My goal in 5 years is to be teaching somewhere in the midwest area. Within the next 10 years, I would like to be at my forever school. I want to make an impact on kid's lives so they don't grow up hating physical activity and can make healthy life choices. Last year, my class and I got the opportunity to teach homeschooled kids through our program. We were almost done with the program when Corona struck, but it was such a great experience, they allowed us to create lessons for them this semester in a 10 week long Physical and Health education setting. Everything with this was done via Seesaw. This year we also are currently going through Health Moves Minds, which is a program that allows us to teach health lessons to students in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
