As A UHC employee there are many daily tasks: Answer incoming phone calls from members and providers to assist them with the following: Benefits,eligibility, billing, payments, appeals, authorizations, EOBs, documenting information, follow ups with members/providers, reviewing and adjusting/processing/and reprocessing healthcare claims,navigating multiple computer systems, assigning CPT codes, ICD-9 and 10 and modifiers. Meeting productivity, performance, and metric goals are extremely important in this role. This position is a permanent role and I worked on a team in Onalaska WI and a team in Wassau WI.
