Currently a Network Security Engineer enjoying sharpening my skills offensively to make improvements defensively within ANB Bank. Using red teaming skills, I help secure the network against the types of attacks that real world actors utilize every day to reduce the risk of future breaches. As an officer in the Cyber Security Association at NDSU I developed a love for the field and an understanding of how networks and systems get implemented and attacked. Since then, I've used this passion coupled with a fierce curiosity to continuously improve my knowledge and the security of the environments I'm placed in. I've gained experience into how corporate environments are run, learning the ins and outs of what it takes for company IT structures to scale securely into the 1000+ employee range. This has allowed me the opportunity to further my studies, attending webinars, conferences and trainings wherever possible. As a result , I currently hold my GIAC, GISO, and GPEN, and I'm ready for more.
