I am a recent graduate from Indiana University Bloomington with a Master's in Library Science. I work in Herman B. Wells Library as a Research Assistant. Here I provide one-on-one consultations with students who need help developing research questions, navigating databases, and finding sources for their projects.During my time at IU, I was also the Jay Information Literacy Fellow. This fellowship is gifted by Hilda and Ellen Jay to a student worker in the Teaching and Learning department at Wells Library. With this fellowship, I have had the opportunity to teach one-shot instruction sessions and develop my teaching skills. As a final project for the fellowship, I researched the connection between information literacy and peace studies. I presented my findings at LOEX and the Notre Dame Student Peace Conference.As an undergrad, I have three years of experience working as a social media intern for the Cushwa-Leighton Library. This internship taught me how to effectively manage multiple social media accounts and create engaging content. During my final year of the internship, I was given more responsibility and was able to help hire and train the new social media intern.
