Graduate Admission Counselor
Manchester, New Hampshire
During my tenure at Southern New Hampshire University I served as a Graduate Admission Counselor. Working on the 'front line' for the university as a direct point of student contact it was my responsibility to conduct interviews with prospective students (evaluating needs, interests and qualifications to ensure program and school synergy). I would present clear and concise information to students regarding the university, programs, cost, and accreditation in an accurate and ethical manner. Maintaining student files and applications, while accurately detailing all interactions and updates, was a top priority in the role that required proficiency in multitasking for meeting strict deadlines. Working in Admissions I acted as an interdepartmental (TCE, ESS, SFS, Advising) liaison, displaying expertise at crossing organizational boundaries to problem solve as necessary. Accomplishments: - Qualified and selected for ‘Promotional Pathways’ - ‘Above & Beyond’ and ‘Rising Star’ awards granted for exceeding first term KPIs - Highest rated Microsoft Dynamics CRM data integrity on team, consistently achieving 100% accuracy - Developed and implemented two team morale projects, SMART Goals and Kudo Box - Featured in Admission Newsletter Spotlight highlighting student satisfaction - Successfully spearheaded Tuesday - Sat schedule change initiative by identifying need for Grad Admission shift change policy, creating a policy implementation action plan , and presenting project to department directors (change was implemented university wide within 4 months)
