After starting in this position I undertook to build and implement an analytics system that identified the number and type of each error. as a result errors were reduced 77% from peak to trough.Another facet of my position is is to ensure that meters are sent from our system to the billing system. This responsibility was added about six months after I took over the role. In the first year I implemented analytics, identified the main causes of meters not being sent for billing, worked with our support team to develop tool to address those issues, and was able to reduce the number of accounts not billed by 53% during that time.
