My interest in the financial services industry began while I was in college, stemming from some conversations I’d had with my dad. My father was very successful career wise but over the years had accumulated several different advisors and several different financial products. In essence, he had accrued a financial junk drawer of too many financial products with no plan and no real strategy behind them. He was lost in a world of products and product pushers, always promising the “next best thing”. This opened my eyes to an issue that many people face today - I saw a need to help my father and many more clients like my father that have become way to busy and overwhelmed with endless options and noise. Financial planning has never been about accumulating the most assets, it has been about developing options on your money. I have learned after years of working with clients that no one client is the same. Every client is unique with different priorities and different goals. My core job is to understand first what the priorities and goals are, then to translate that to a plan that works and becomes the best fit for their needs.
