Interventional Access Business Unit• Partnered with Marketing to identify user needs for novel in vitro diagnostics (IVD) technology, developing a product roadmap and strategy to support Teleflex’s entry into the IVD market.• Managed key opinion leader (KOL) relationships, conducting clinician interviews and observing procedures to gather voice of customer insights, informing the design of new medical devices.• Served as R&D lead on due diligence teams, conducting R&D and Design Control diligence for multiple M&A assessments and drafting comprehensive diligence reports.• Led the development of the ClearClot thrombectomy device with a $4M R&D budget, overseeing project management and technical development, including design of polymers, metallic components, and electronic circuitry.• Identified and vetted third-party partners to support product development in new market spaces.• Developed strategic new product development plans, including scope, budget, timelines, and resource allocation for front-end innovation projects.• Contributed as R&D SME on the initiative to redefine Teleflex’s Concept to Commercialization product realization process, providing cross-functional insights from market opportunity identification to lifecycle management.• Oversaw Teleflex Vascular’s Design Control system, managing updates, defending the system in audits, and consulting with other business units as an acknowledged SME on Essential Design Outputs.• Collaborated across business units to support Interventional R&D efforts and strategic planning.• Led the transition of Vascular R&D to the Tech Center, managing QMS transfer and logistical support for the MDSAP audit.• Managed and developed a team of up to three employees, focusing on engagement, career development, and maximizing contributions.
