Amanda Formaro is a local blogger focused on recipes and crafts. As her Social Media Manager, I was responsible for promotion of all new blog posts, copy on all social posts, content-scheduling, analytics, helping with revenue-based content and weekly newsletters.During my time, I was able to increase her Instagram following by 15% and was behind many viral Facebook posts, such as Pumpkin Spice Donuts which reached over 5.5 million people: https://bit.ly/2xn1JqD

As an RTR Campus Representative, I am responsible for bringing awareness of RTR to UW-Milwaukee. We frequently promote the clothing and the company on social media, host fun events for girls to get involved with the company and table in the union to elevate knowledge of the what RTR is.

As a Digital Communications Intern for UW-Milwaukee, I'm in charge of generating content for all social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Facebook, LinkedIn and Medium. I work closely with our video, design and photography teams to create fun, youthful content that will appeal to our students. I write copy, analyze what posts are working better than others, compile media lists, research competitors and manage production schedules. I also often create entire social media campaigns for everything from Halloween to Geek Week.In my time, I've been able to increase our Instagram following by 15% and Instagram engagement by 33%. I've published tweets reaching over 82,000 people and Facebook posts reaching over 265,000 people.

As the Pantherfest Co-Chair, I was responsible for planning and implementing the largest annual campus event with a group of 15 students. I lead weekly meetings, managed a budget of more than $300,000, used analytics and surveys to choose an appropriate music artist, worked closely with Summerfest to secure an artist and contacted and contracted vendors. I was also in charge of our social media campaign for promotion, day-of coverage and recapping the event.We were able to get Khalid and lovelytheband to perform at our concert and had Dry Bar, bumper cars, henna artists, Insomnia Cookie and much more at our Streetfest event prior. We increased sales by 42% and reached nearly 170,000 people on social media through our social media campaign. We had over 7,000 people in attendance. It was the largest Pantherfest in several years.

As a Social Media Intern for Her Campus, I am in charge of the @hercampus Twitter account, creating and implementing a weekly fashion segment, creating viral-worthy memes and analytics.
