About Taz Steed
As a Supply Chain Rotational at Hyster-Yale I have gained experience in many aspects of Supply Chain. As materials planner I maintained a diverse packet of over 3000 parts including but not limited to oil, seals, plastics, rubber trim, and frames. In that role I order these commodities based on Kanban, forecast and manual based strategies in SAP. My relationships with suppliers and logistics reduced my delayed ASNs by over 50% over the course of my time as a Materials Planner. Hard work and patience is always a top priority for myself and I am always looking out for the company's best interests. I enjoy solving challenges and helping the company succeed. My materials planning skills helped reduce counterweight and frame working capital by over $500,000. I am never satisfied with the current situation and am always looking for ways to improve and become more efficient.
