Accenture Strategy (Technology Strategy)

Tom is a manager in Accenture's global cross-industry Technology Strategy practice and is based in Sydney. He has been involved in a number of IT Strategy and IT Service Management projects across various industries, focusing primarily on Telecommunications, Financial Services and, more recently, Aerospace and Defence. He has experience in engaging with senior business stakeholders to develop IT strategies and target operating models. Tom has experience in Cloud Strategy through his involvement in the development of Accenture’s Cloud Strategy practice.Most recently, Tom has been working with clients in developing their digital transformation agenda with a particular focus on data and analytics strategy. He has also had experience defining and executing technology roadmaps to help support new ways of working (i.e. mobile, collaboration, video conferencing & workplace technologies).

In July 2022, the CYCA members elected me as Rear Commodore - a volunteer role I take on with much pride and enthusiasm to contribute to the next chapter of our Club and sport’s future.

I was privileged to be elected by the members of the CYCA as a board member in July 2020, working alongside other volunteer flag officers and our professional management team to represent members, oversee the running of Club activities and plan and conduct the Club’s extensive sailing calendar - including the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race.
