Responsibilities included modeling development and operating budgets to optimize funding, working with cities and towns on land entitlement processes, corresponding with State and City agencies regarding affordable housing subsidy programs and regulation, maintaining relationships with conventional lenders, assisting prospective investors in their return evaluations, conducting operational due diligence on acquisition sites, and generating proposals for RFPs and RFQs for development sites throughout the Northeast. - Played a critical role in the closing of over $100 million in debt and equity for development projects over the past 3 years.- Skilled in property valuations, market studies, and return evaluations (IRR, cash-on-cash returns, etc.).- Well-versed in the regulations involved and underwriting of Federal Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), Federal Historic Tax Credit (HTC), CT State Historic Tax Credit, New Market Tax Credit (NMTC), and conventional debt deals.
