My prior representations cover many industries, including energy, technology, aviation, hospitality, manufacturing, construction, wine, recreation, and entertainment.• I help distressed businesses navigate and execute the complex options available to them, including chapter 11 bankruptcy, general assignments for the benefit of creditors (ABCs), out-of-court workouts with their creditors, and dissolution.• I advise secured and unsecured creditors on their rights and remedies in these situations when their counterparties are distressed or have entered formal insolvency proceedings.• I counsel purchasers of distressed assets in foreclosures, ABCs, and Section 363 sales.Beyond the work for my clients, I was the conference co-chair for the California Bankruptcy Forum’s 2023 Insolvency Conference and serve as an advisor to the California Lawyers Association’s Insolvency Law Committee, where I write and provide editorial guidance for articles on recent cases of interest to bankruptcy practitioners.
