Began working as an Intensive Family Preservation Therapist (now referred to as the Homebuilders program) with families at risk of having their children removed by Indiana Department of Child Services. After a year of this work, transitioned to a foster care case manager and served as an interim program supervisor before going on maternity leave. When I returned from leave, I wrote home studies for families pursuing international adoption until our family moved out of state.

Initially hired as unit staff and was quickly promoted to youth counselor, medication administrator. After this role, I was promoted to QMRP where I supervised 8-10 staff, implemented behavior management plans, and ensured the shift ran efficiently. When the company developed a vocational education program, I spearheaded and ran the program until my departure from the organization.
