Upon graduating high school, I entered military service in the United States Army. I served at Ft. Sill, OK from January 1984 through March 1988. I separated from military service and entered the Police Academy, with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office and became a state certified police officer in January 1989, where I continued my employment until retiring with 27 years of service in the summer of 2015. In February of 2015 I became employed at Cash Building Materials as their Fleet coordinator and delivery dispatcher. While work g this position, I was responsible for coordinating construction materials to job sites and supervising drivers and yard workers. I was also the Safety Coordinator for the company. I returned to Law Enforcement in February 2018 with the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office where I am currently employed. While working at the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office I served as a Patrol Deputy and Field Training Officer, and am currently a Detective in the Internal Affairs Unit, responsible for administrative investigations of LEO, Corrections and civilian personnel.
