Developed a smart appliance of digital signage for location-sensitive content over the subscribed media channels. The unique mobile-pushed solution also enhanced the in-store shopping experience for customers while providing an in-depth analysis of purchase behaviors to businesses.

Developed an SMS-based social business messaging service, Guppers, with a team of three in six months. Conducted market trials with early adaptors and later adapted the framework to a mobile data application platform that allows businesses to create and deploy mobile data applications that worked with any phone in minutes. Guppers was featured in Microsoft PDC 2009 and invited to participate in a Microsoft press event along with a few other early adopters of Microsoft Azure cloud computing technology.

Strategized, planned, and executed the product and technology directions of the company, a leading technology provider for the apparel industry. Re-architected the company flagship product, a shop floor data tracking system, from a contact smart tag to contactless RFID card. Spearheaded the effort to create a new enterprise-scale technology framework and successfully delivered a series of interoperable solutions, including IEES (Industrial Engineering Execution System), SDT (Shop Floor Data Tracking), PPS (Product Planning System), and QCM (Quality Control Management), built on top of the framework. Worked closely with the CEO and board and was one of the key management in the filling for public listing. Managed and mentored a group of sixty employees comprising of Product Managers, Software Architectures, and Engineers.

Set technology direction and managed IT operation of the organization. Designed and implemented IT and LAN/WAN infrastructure to support its US-Beijing operations. Led a team of of developers to deliver first Learning Management System (LMS), eLnet, for the institute. Collaborated with IEEC of Education Ministry of China to participate in events promoting the benefits of LMS. Automated the student registration processes into an in-house system.

Led and managed the Web Development Group. Played key roles in architecture, design, and implementation of SupplyWork’s MRO/MAX 1.0, a web-based supply chain management system, particularly on the thin-client and web front-end. High profile clients included U.S. Navy, Barnes and Nobles, Ingersoll Rand, and Office Depot.

Provided technical consultation and development supports primarily in Client-Server and Internet/Intranet areas to various clients including Ford, Unisys, Comshare, UMI, M&I Data Services, and SecondToNone.

Worked on Comshare Commander Decision, a data warehousing platform and tools and later became a key developer for Comshare DecisionWeb, the company's first web edition of the application,
