- I joined Capita’s ‘Lead the Way’ graduate scheme, when they were in the FTSE 100, as an Internal Auditor in the regulated Life and Pensions sector. I combined my work in the Internal Audit department with my studies.
- Planning, leading and delivering risk based operational audits in line with Capita's GIA charter and methodology. This included coordinating with offshore staff to ensure that a high standard of work was delivered in.

This placement involved carrying out reconciliations, re-forecasting and variance analysis. I built up a good understanding of Microsoft Excel and Axiom whilst also gaining some exposure to SAP.
