Providing SETA support for Tactical Sensor & Communications Systems Research Efforts including the Advanced Sighting System (One-Shot) and Counter Sniper (C-Sniper) programs.

Military Assistant to the Director and Marine Operational Liaison at DARPA. Provide advice and assistance to the Director on issues involving the Service components. Assist in the transition of DARPA technology into the Marine Corps and in shaping DARPA programs to meet future Marine Corps' needs. Manage a portfolio of programs ranging from micro electronics to unmanned vehicles.

Providing military and technical advice in support of the design, development, testing and fielding of an Information Operations Decision Support System to support the Marine Corps Information Operations Center (MCIOC) tactical mission requirements.

Served as chief of staff to the Deputy Commandant of Programs and Resources responsible for developing the Marine Corps programs and budget submission. Assisted in the development, submission, and defense of 4 supplemental budgets and the budgets for FY 2007, 2008, and 2009.

Led the aviation department responsible for developing assignments for all Marine Corps aviation officers. Participated in and led selection boards for resident schools, transition, and command selection.

Served as Operations Officer, Aircraft Maintenance Officer, and Executive Officer. Squadron completed muliple CONUS training deployments, participated in Operation ALLIED FORCE, and a deployment to the western pacific. VMFA(AW)-332 Moonlighters were recently placed in a cadre status awaiting deliver of the F-35 JSF.

Developed training programs for 7 F/A-18 squadrons.

Served as F/A-18 instructor responsible for standardization of training for all F/A-18 squadrons and certification of instructor aircrew.

Served as aircrew training officer for squadron following stand-up in the F/A-18D. Squadron made multiple CONUS training deployments and a WestPac deployment.

Served as a forward air controller and air officer for 1/3 during workups for and deployment to the western pacific where the battalion was certified as MEU(SOC) capable. Served as Headquarters and Service Company commander upon return from WestPac.

Served in a variety of positions in the logistics and administrative departments within the squadron flying the F-4S Phantom II out of Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. Last Phantoms were retired in February 1989 and the squadron transitioned to the F/A-18A.

The Checkerboards were flying F-4S Phantoms and completed several CONUS training deployments and a deployment to the Western Pacific (WestPac). Squadron transitioned to the F/A-18 upon return from WestPac
