I am currently a full-time employee at the South Holland Public Library.I am responsible for administering automated systems of the library, including but not limited to the local area network, the system-wide automated network, the telephone system, the audio-visual systems, the website, Internet and mobile services of the library.I also contribute to the marketing resources and activities of the library, including the library’s monthly newsletter, email campaigns, social media and other forms of promotion.For 17 years, I designed, developed, and maintained the several-hundred page depth municipal website of the Village of South Holland, Illinois.On the side, I own Octane Technologies, a technology services and digital media company offering consulting services in technical support, systems analysis and engineering, network design, website design and development, marketing, branding, graphics design, social media, internet advertising and photography.A notable part of Octane Technologies was ModernCamaro.com, which I owned and operated for 4 years, successfully growing it from infancy into one of the biggest Camaro enthusiast websites on the Internet. In late 2010, I negotiated a successful sale of ModernCamaro.com to VerticalScope in a 6-figure deal.On March 18, 2014, I was elected as the Republican Committeeman of Thornton Township, the largest township in Illinois.I was a member of the Camaro Consumer Advisory Board at General Motors. We represented the voice of the Camaro enthusiast community and provided feedback directly to those at Chevrolet and GM that are responsible for the development of the Camaro. The Camaro community dubbed us the "Camaro Disciples."
