I am a dynamic coordinator, advocate and and educator with more than 32 years of professional experience. My creative focus is dedicated to building on personal strengths and confidence, while maintaining guidelines and dependability to foster growth. I bring several decades experience in utilizing a number of community resources to work with families and help them to access the tools needed for whole health and development. I encourage all people to feel valued and accepted, helping each child to reach their full potential. I am experienced working with individuals with special needs, including Diabetes, Downs Syndrome, Autism, Attention Deficit Disorders and emotional and social needs. I have Office Management certifications and I have pursued continuing education in a variety of arts including Drama Production, Creative Movement, Music, Textiles and Hands-On Elementary Art. I am a particularly skilled instructor in language arts, having taken classes on Early and Global Literacy, Whole Language, Reading Themes, Reaching ELL's, Comprehensive Literacy and Assessing Literature Learning. I bring an appreciation for balancing the whole health of the child along with a passion for history, science and civic engagement to the workplace.
