I created an information management system for the print Centre side of the organisation in order to reduce reliance on ineffective paper-based recording of data. The Newsquest Reporting System (NQRS) is built using VB.net and the Microsoft Lightswitch Framework which provides a solid platform for simplistic data entry whilst allowing for the addition of complex business logic so that the system can provide meaningful date which can be automatically reported improving business productivity.
