I run a specialist PR company serving the business-to-business sector for clients in technology related fields. Sectors include manufacturing, electronics, engineering, instrumentation, IT, research etc. When I was a journalist I used to receive hundreds of press releases a week, most of which were badly written or irrelevant. I therefore set up Antimony Communications to produce news releases and articles on technical subjects that are well written, well targeted and appeal to journalists. This means that, unlike with many technical PR companies, our clients don’t end up having to write the copy themselves! We subscribe to a leading media database covering UK, European and worldwide publications, so we can tailor a comprehensive press list for each news release we produce. The media targeted are typically the relevant trade press, both printed and electronic, and can also include national and local newspapers, web publications, e-zines and social media.Typical topics for our news releases would be new or improved products, applications stories, exhibition previews, contract wins, new appointments, sales/performance milestones, acquisitions or partnerships etc.Our clients appreciate the exposure they receive through making full use of the media to reach potential customers that would otherwise be hard to contact.I also carry out other marketing communications work, such as writing newsletters, web pages, e-shots, flyers, brochures, guides and advertisements.
Listed skills include Copywriting, Press Releases, Marketing Communications, New Business Development, and 33 others.
