• Directed the annual $24B budgeting and planning process; developed and presented budget guidelines including expense and labor productivity targets to departmental controllers, coordinated the loading of financial information into SAP and created presentations delivered to executives and the Board of Directors• Consolidated monthly financial results and forecasts for AMR, the parent company of American Airlines; created the internal "close book" detailing monthly financial/statistical results and full year pro-formas and presented results to the CFO• Managed AMR's monthly short-term financial forecast process through extensive interaction with the company’s 20+ departments; spearheaded four rounds of cost savings initiatives resulting in more than $150M in savings for the company• Developed all forward looking financial estimates provided in external filing and collaborated with Investor Relations, Corporate Accounting and Corporate Communications to draft all communications provided with the release of financial results and forward looking estimates
