I have been working in the production and operations side of television since 1986. From capturing news as a photographer to driving and operating microwave and satellite news vehicles, to working as a technical director and technical manager, I have been directly involved in all facets of news gathering and delivery.In the fall of 2009 I started USTV. A company designed to creatively identify technical solutions for television and media acquisition, editing and distribution. I have lived and worked in the field of television news in Providence, RI; Boston, MA; New York, NY; and Washington, DC. My personal travels have taken me to Canada, the Caribbean, Europe and the Middle East. I have a unique understanding of local and global news, entertainment and sporting events and the roles television networks organizations must play to remain competitive in the twenty first century.In July of 2000 I found that I had the unique opportunity to make my living as an independent technical manager and technical director in New York City’s vast field of entertainment television. I then went to work for Atlantic Video first as General Manager of the New York office and then as the Director of Technical Services for the entire company. I am an extremely motivated individual. I am a quick learner who understands and respects budgets and the need to accomplish the tasks at hand within a deadline. I have managed live production crews, postproduction facilities and multi camera remote events.
