The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, coordinating, scheduling, managing and execution of various technology projects and initiatives. This role will partner with Spencer customers, vendors, manufactures and internal teams to deliver projects as defined in the SOW/contract with quality, on time, and on-budget.This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, be able to manage competing priorities, provide sound, logical planning of activities and be a team player. The role will also need to develop, create and produce various deliverables and documentation and be able to effectively lead cross-functional teams. • Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, or systems.• Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, or other regulations.• Continually assess contractor performance for quality, cost, schedule, safety, and security expectations.• Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.• Select, contract, and oversee workers who complete specific pieces of the project, such as building fixtures or completion of merchandising.• Direct and supervise AutoZoners and temporary staff.• Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at store sites, to ensure that proper procedures are understood and followed.• Determine labor requirements for requesting resources at store sites.• Take actions to efficiently resolve delays, such as bad weather, worker conflicts, and other various emergencies at store site.• Prepare and submit expense reports.• Confer with project managers, general contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.• Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
