I wrote two monologues based on their respective themes: Valentimes Day and the Lockdown during the pandemic.‘Me, Myself & I’ a one-minute monologue, explores the frustration of lockdown and fears of isolation during COVID-19. Performed through Slaminutes on their official social media account in Autumn 2020. This monologue was also published in ‘SLAMinutes does Mental Health through the Pandemic’ Oct. 2020 – an anthology of 100 writers & performers of every discipline writing experiences of Mental Health through the Pandemic. ‘Lonely on V-Day’ a one-minute monologue, explores the fluidity of sexuality and lack of emotional intimacy in a digital age.
