Ted’s fascination with the capital markets started by observing his father, a “blue collar worker” buy and sell stocks. His father was a savvy investor, had a disciplined process, and a track record of success. Ted has applied those same principles in designing financial strategies for his clients. His business practices have always been client centric and recently formalized his role by attaining the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF)designation.Ted has been working in the financial services industry for over 20 years. He was always interested in the concepts of creating wealth and truly found a lifelong vocation that he loves. He began his career as a Certified Public Accountant and later became a director at Morgan Stanley. While at Morgan Stanley, he joined the exclusive Wealth Advisor program in 2005, allowing him to undergo advanced training and offer extended resources to his clients. Before joining Alex. Brown, a division of Raymond James, Ted was a director at Deutsche Bank. He earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Lowell.An active member of his community, Ted was involved in the development of a youth basketball program in the city of his roots, Haverhill, MA., and volunteers as a coach. He is a tremendous advocate of his local community college, the institution that changed the direction of his life, and is a member of the schools Foundation. Ted’s commitment to education extends beyond his local involvement. He has been involved with the Irish American Partnership, a member of the steering committee for the Irish American Partnerships flagship Newport event as well as Dublin Cup during the past five years. Ted’s family actively volunteers with the Gale Park Neighborhood Association, responsible for the restoration and beautification of a local landmark.
