Ted J. Spero is a senior information technology leader with over 27 years of industry experience. He currently holds the position of Vice President of IT Infrastructure with FAIRWINDS Credit Union, the largest Central Florida headquartered financial institution with nearly $4.8 billion in assets and over 233,000 members. Ted has a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and an MBA from the University of Central Florida, as well as numerous certificates from Harvard Business School and Cornell University. Ted has spoken at many events including the FDIC Seidman Center in Arlington, VA, NCUA IS&T SME Conference in Miami, FL, and the ToolCASE Client Conference in Greenwood Village, CO on topics including Virtualization of Oracle databases, Virtualization security, and performance optimization for virtualized Oracle OLTP workloads. Ted has also been interviewed for published articles in Bank Systems & Technology, InformationWeek, and others. On two occasions, Ted was awarded the FAIRWINDS President's Club Award, the highest honor at FAIRWINDS for exemplary performance. Ted has also proudly served on the board of directors for the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra since July 2023.
