I am the host and producer of the podcast This Grad Life, a show about the lives of brilliant and wayward grad students and the research that they do. Each episode features a current or ex-grad student, and we hope to highlight the humanity behind the science. I'm happy to have served 1000 unique listens with my small time show.

• Invented and implemented the core sensing algorithm and created prototype sensors tested in humans with MARD scores of < 12%• Conceived a Python module and assisted development of a NoSQL database to process +20GB of data daily• Accelerated the development cycles by reducing analysis time by at least 75% by enabling novel analysis methods that were previously impossible or outside current imagination• Presented key data to board members and investors, helping raise an estimated $14 million in venture funding.• Facilitated due diligence meetings for the potential sale of company, cataloging over 2 terabytes of data• Mentored four interns over the course of two years, two have moved onto graduate study

• Supervised and on-boarded 13 direct reports over two years and managed a team consisted of two technicians, two engineers, and two interns• Hosted lunch and learn sessions to help breakdown complex sensor physics, or to teach general topics in Python or sensor specific biophysics• Expedited sensor development via FEA modeling, simulating fluid flow and reaction diffusion kinetics

• Part of cross functional tiger teams as a subject matter expert in molecular chemistry and physics• Performed test methods validation and wrote technical summaries that proved operational tolerance to be less than 5%• Devised graphs and analysis boards to help explain conclusions three times a week at cross functional meetings

• Developed a custom fluorescence microscopy test system, replete with fixtures, precise fluid control, and automated sampling capable of running 24/7• Capable of testing 80 sensors under controlled temperature, oxygen saturation, and glucose concentration

• Wrote over 40 episodes for the nationally syndicated science radio show across a broad range of disciplines including, physics, chemistry, biology, sociology, and anthropology• Acted as managing editor ultimately responsible for around 80 episodes in total

• Trained 75+ graduate students to give 10 minute talks to a general audience• Taught skills necessary to balance simplifying a complex topic without "dumbing it down"• Acted as community organizer, assuring an audience for these grad students

• Taught first and second year undergraduate physics labs with an average class size of 24 while continuing previous undergraduate research• Topics include mechanics, thermodynamics, and electromagnetism

• Wrote critical Python code to examine percolation thresholds on lattices with low coordination numers• Mentored two interns, and co-authored two papers
