Throughout my 15+ year career at APMEX I have filled a variety of roles and have managed a variety of different product lines including but not limited to U.S. coinage including:-Half Cents & Large Cents-Indian Head Cents-Lincoln Cents-Two and Three Cent Pieces-Shield Nickels-Liberty "V" Nickels-Buffalo Nickels-Classic Commemoratives (Silver & Gold)-Silver Dollars-All Modern Commemoratives (.50, $1, $5, $10)-Pre-1933 US GoldI managed these products using a combination of proprietary software, numismatic and writing skills, excel spreadsheets, and a variety of industry resources to create and market these products in new and innovative ways. I work with all functions of the company including accounting, customer service, shipping/receiving, purchasing, and sales.In addition, while a product manager I managed profit and/or loss of product lines by conducting extensive numerical analysis as well as incorporating industry insight in order to maximize the return on investment. I published, via the website, buy and sell prices for new and existing product lines while maintaining necessary profit margins. I monitored, identified, and adjusted buy and sell spreads as they fluctuate depending on market conditions and trending concerns.I maintained a strategic business plan for the life cycle of a product line. I communicated clear concepts and plans to expand a product line and replenishes inventory from existing relationships and establishes new relationships with vendors in the industry. Through strong communication skills I recommended email promotions and online banner advertisements.I presently lead a team of 19 numismatists as Director of Numismatics. In addition to leading the team I am also responsible for identifying, researching, describing, and pricing all coins and paper money.
