I’m a sophomore at the University of Colorado Boulder who is currently studying Environmental Studies with a minor in Business. I grew up in Wilmette, Illinois, and attended New Trier High school. My main strengths are that I am hardworking, motivated, and creative. I have gained and developed these skills through my work at Camp Deerhorn where I spent the last two summers becoming one of the camp’s most trusted employees. I worked seven days a week for three months teaching kids under sixteen outdoor activities and life lessons along the way. Due to the age diversity of the kids I needed to be creative with my approach to keep them interested. This summer I led a group of twelve campers on a week-long kayaking and hiking trip in Voyages national park where I taught them teamwork and leadership. All of my skills will transfer over to your company as my skills will work in a variety of real world situations. After this summer I have had real-world experiences of being a leader. I can apply those skills and use them in my future career. I’m interested in marketing as a career because I want to be able to use my creativity daily at my job. My interests are hiking, traveling, cooking and fitness
