As a motivated finance major at the Kelley School of Business, I believe I have obtained valuable skills that will enable me to excel in the business world. Some of these skills include communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and a hardworking, never quit attitude. I believe my work as a laborer at Luna Builds, a masonry company based out of St. Louis, instilled my skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and hard work. Working as a caddie at Sunset Country Club strengthened my interpersonal and communication skills. Leadership is another quality that I pride myself in. Being elected by my peers and faculty as house captain, really made me value leadership. In my role as house captain, I was responsible for planning all of the school-wide events and conducting meetings with house deans and seniors. As a house captain, I was responsible for students ranging from sixth grade to twelfth grade. I hope to continue using these skills and passions throughout my college career while developing new skills that will help me after I graduate from Kelley. I strive to work hard while at Kelley and make the most of every opportunity. I am passionate about a future career in the financial services industry.
