I received a promotion that reflects the global nature and scope of my role as the finance lead of the Diabetes Development organization. Key responsibilities included:- Managed Diabetes Development portfolio, supported Vice President of Development, and presented financial results to Senior Management enabling effective control over critical portion of R&D pipeline- Implemented financial integration for strategic alliance with Adocia Biotechnology that facilitated progression of molecule through phase I of development- Generated molecule valuations and modeled launch scenarios that were used by Corporation’s Executive Committee to make portfolio tradeoff decisions- Ran Strategic Plan exercise for Diabetes R&D and presented results with R&D leadership to Lilly Diabetes President and his Leadership Team; team recommendations set R&D strategic direction for five year timeframe

As Sr. Financial Analyst for Diabetes Development I had controllership responsibilities for the Lilly Diabetes R&D portfolio. I partners with the Diabetes Development Vice President to facilitate strategic decisions across the portfolio. Additionally, I served as a key financial resource for analysis surrounding any portfolio Business Development transactions.

After 10 months with the company, I was recommended to rotate within my group to the role of Lead Analyst for Corporate Engineering and Continuous Improvement. In this new role, I have increased planning, forecasting, and reporting responsibilities and more direct business partner support. This includes controllership for our multimillion-dollar Facilities Management contract with Johnson Controls. I also have mentorship and oversight responsibilities for a new hire that filled my previous role.
